What are the differences in the collections?

Mesure Label: Includes 20-25 custom measurements and posture profiles. Clients selected from a curated collection of materials and exclusive design options. Measurements are sent to tailors for pattern development and creation of the client’s custom pattern.

Prive Label: Includes all the elements of the Mesure Label, with an additional 10-12 measurements and selections from Harryson & Peters full collection of more than 3,000 fabric and elegant design options. Its takes over 200 steps and more than 50 hours of hand work to create a exquisite handcrafted garment.

Atelier Label: Includes all the luxury elements that go into our Prive Label. In addition, this bespoke process includes building and fitting a hand-made basted muslin shell. This become the canvas our our professional clothiers to chalk, pin and make all the necessary alterations adjustments. The shell is sent back to our tailors for them to complete the final hand craftsmanship on your selected pieces. A final garment returns in a couple of weeks for a final fitting. One where you’ll experience the ultimate luxury atelier-made fit.

How long does the whole process take?

Garment Tailoring: On average Mesure Label and Prive Label shirts, trousers, pant and vests take 4-5 weeks to complete. Mesure and Prive Lable tuxedos, suits, sport coats and outerwear take 5-6 weeks to complete. Atelier Label items, due to the initial creation of a hand-based muslin shell, require 7-8 weeks to complete.

Showroom Fitting: Once your garments are nearing completion, an H&P clothier will contact you to schedule a fitting. It is customary to make minor adjustments and alterations to perfect your fit. Alterations are completed locally by our master tailor and take approximately one week to complete.

What is your return policy?

Custom Garments are non-refundable. We desire our clients to be very satisfied. We guarantee a correct custom fit, even in a very rare occasion we have to re-make the garment. Exchange or store credit on non-custom items if returned in original condition within 30-days of purchase.

What is your alterations policy?

With the exception of damages, rips and excessive wear by the client, alterations are complimentary for the life your Harryson & Peters purchased garments.

For our out of state clients who may need to source local alterations, we gladly provide 1.5 times the alterations charge in H&P shop credit.

We also offer concierge alteration services on certain garments not purchased at Harryson & Peters. We will gladly assist in marking your alterations for our master tailor to complete. We reserve the right to accept or reject garments based upon the original quality, age and wear of pieces purchased at a different store.

Where do you get your materials?

We source our fabrics and materials only from European mills and suppliers. Why? Because Europe produces the finest cloths in the world. These mills are steeped in history and tradition - many of which have been around longer than the United States has been a country. 95% of our sourced materials are organic in nature and fully sustainable. We require our fabric mill partners to maintain the gold standard in the clothing industry for humane treatment of animals and ecological and sustainability policies and practices.

Where is my custom clothing produced?

Harryson & Peters clothing is produced in North America. We maintain daily interactions with our tailoring partners in Quebec, Canada, as well as our first and second generation Italian trained master tailors, located in New York and New Jersey.

Our finishing (alterations) master tailor has over 40 years of experience and is located in Dallas, Texas

Who are your vendors?

We source materials from more that 20 luxury mills. This includes Zegna, Loro Piana, Scabal, Dormeuil, Drago, Marzoni, Piaczena, Gladson, Albilini and Thomas Mason to name a few
